When my puppy swallowed his AirTag I was frantic because of the potential damage it could do to his intestines. Dr. Holly, Dr. Ray, Erin and everyone we came in contact with were understanding, caring, friendly, and supportive. They understood my concerns and even though he was not in duress (he was actually enjoying the royalty treatment), they treated it as an emergency. Other places I called wanted to wait until it became a problem before seeing him. As a bonus (human GI nurse), I loved being able to get my hands in there and help with the retrieval of the AirTag Boone swallowed. Thank you!

Very friendly and professional staff. From the moment you work in, you can feel taken care of. This was our first time taking our pet to the emergency room. It was such a calm environment, we definitely felt taken care of and at ease. Also, the fact that you never leave your pets, which is amazing, not only for them but also for you. I hope you never have to come back again, but if we do, I will definitely go straight here

I usually go to a ER vet right by my house in Oak Creek but unfortunately their hours are very inconsistent. On a Thursday night, my dog Silas decided to eat a whole bottle of carprofen and ended up coming here. This place is amazing! When we arrived, we were quickly seen. It was determined that Silas needed a 48 hour stay with IVF, special medications, and lab draws. Every single person i encountered from the front desk, nurses, techs, vets, was so amazing. You are all a special group of people. I could tell you all love your job. My dog is a spunky, crazy old man who acts like a puppy. The staff were able to give him the special attention he needed during his stay. If anything ever arises where I need emergent services I will absolutely be making the 20 min drive here. Thank you VEG for helping my buddy dog!

Everyone was gentle, and compassionate towards my fur baby. They did a thorough job of keeping me informed throughout the visit. The vet took her time to make sure my concerns were addressed. I would definitely recommend and return.

Noticed my Beardie had an injured foot and brought her to VEG ER immediately, first time being here for both of us. Everyone was very kind and professional, got a room right away. Staff was concerned for my baby, even though she was very sassy with them, they still took the best possible care of her. Left with antibiotics and referrals for local exotics vets. I know this was a unique situation, a bearded dragon with a broken foot, but they handed it amazingly! I would definitely go here again if any of my many pets had an emergency.

I can’t recommend them more strongly. This entire team is everything you hope for when your pet is in need: patient, understanding, reassuring, smart. I brought in my dog today after being referred by our vet for a foreign body in his stomach. They walked through all the treatment and surgical options with me slowly and were graceful with my (stress induced) questions. Even though my dog likely had this in his stomach for a full week and couldn’t expel it by vomiting, they strongly encouraged induction of vomiting anyway before going through with more invasive procedures like endoscopy and potentially full surgery if that wasn’t successful. They assured me it was worth trying. And they were right. Half an hour later, our nightmare was over and we were on our way home. And my sweet boy is recovering—best case scenario! What an awesome, awesome team of doctors, nurses and staff. I’m confident they’ll take care of you just as well as they took care of us. Thank you!!!!! - Nathan and Griffin 🐶

I cannot say enough good things about this emergency vet and all the people there. The doctor that I dealt with was amazing. When I walked in the door I was greeted warmly and even asked if there was anything I needed while I was waiting there with my cat. The support staff was very focused on making sure that my cat had the care she needed. She had an ear infection and I had next to no resources to accommodate her and I had been following them on Instagram and I knew they were the ones I could reach out to for help. They treated my cat with such care, gave me the medication I needed and helped me out when I was in a desperate financial situation. I am so thankful for the wonderful people here and that there is a place like this. 🙏💯❤️🥰🫂😻

Traveling in the area for work when my girlie Mollie got sick. Since she is an older pup and diabetic, I didnt want to take any chances. Soooo glad I found this place. They were so kind to her and diagnosed her quickly with pancreatitis. She is rebounding quickly thanks to their prompt attention. I wish more places like this existed around the country.

Wonderful experience! We brought our Samson in with an ear issue that had gotten to the point we didn't think he'd be able to sleep and likely couldn't get into our primary vet until after the weekend. When my golden retriever had an eye emergency, I chose this ER simply based on location and a quick glance at the reviews. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, I was incredibly impressed with the care we received. The entire staff was so gentle and compassionate with my dog, and I was especially impressed by how thorough the exam was. Dr. Kimberlyn W. took the time to clearly explain which tests she recommended and why, and I appreciated being given pricing information before anything was done. At no point did I feel pressured into additional testing or treatment. Ariela and Shannon were also absolutely amazing throughout my dog’s care. Honestly, the best way to describe this place is something one of the assistants said: it’s like “The Avengers” of veterinary medicine. The best of the best all came together to work here. The diagnosis and treatment plan were explained very thoroughly, which I truly valued, and I was sent home with printed information to refer back to as well. During the wait for bloodwork results, someone even came in with a basket of snacks and offered me something to eat or drink…such a thoughtful touch during a stressful situation. I would recommend this place 100%.
